ASecAF visits 917 WG

917th Wing Airmen support community needs

Airmen from the 917th Wing wait their turn to donate blood outside a LifeShare Blood Centers’ donor bus during the 917th Wing Blood Drive in the course of the Unit Training Assembly weekend at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., June 5, 2010. The mission of Life Blood Centers is to provide quality blood, blood components and related services for use by patients on an efficient cost effective basis. According to Gwen Herndon from LifeShare, 18 units were donated by 917th Airmen, and that was three more than the projected goal of fifteen.
