Parnell garners Pitsenbarger Award
Chief Master Sgt. (Ret) Jack Skaggs presents Randall A. Parnell the Pitsenbarger Award for the Reserves during Community College of the Air Force graduation ceremonies at the Bossier City Civic Center in Bossier City, La., May 27, 2010. Parnell is also a Master Sergeant with the Air Force Reserves and is a flight line expeditor for 717th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. The award is named for Airman First Class William H. Pitsenbarger, a Pararescueman, who unselfishly gave his life trying to save casualties near Saigon April 11, 1966, at the young age of 21.
