KC-46 performs first operational long-endurance flight
Capt. Dariel Baker, 344th Air Refueling Squadron chief of operations group mobility, stationed at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker, from Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, to begin in-flight refueling in the Indo-Pacific, Dec. 17, 2022. The long endurance flight included two KC-46A Pegasus tankers flying a two-part mission for a combined total of 42 hours in the Indo-Pacific region, supporting long-range strike capabilities.
