STARBASE hosts first La. National Guard Youth Challenge Class
U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert VanHoy, Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Strategy, Plans and Programs at Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, speaks with students with the La. National Guard Youth Challenge Program, Nov. 19, 2020 at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. The students were the first from the program to take Science, Technology, Engineering and Math courses at STARBASE Louisiana. VanHoy, a former commander of the 307th Bomb Wing, the unit serving as the STARBASE Louisiana sponsor, held a question and answer session regarding the future of STEM and its importance in the current and future workforce.
