345th EBS conduct Sept. 21 mission
A B-1 Lancer assigned to the 345th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron returns to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Sept. 21, after completing a sortie in support of a Bomber Task Force mission. Several of the bombers took off from the Pacific theater to perform the mission in Europe. The B-1’s were joined by B-2 Spirit and B-52 Stratofortress bombers, demonstrating the U.S. ability to safely and effectively coordinate training despite the current COVID-19 pandemic.
