307th Engineers -- We Dig It
A spoon attached to a U.S. Air Force CAT 304E2 CR Mini Excavator was used in a training exercise to lift a golf ball from a mound of dirt at the 307th Civil Engineer Squadron heavy Equipment Rodeo Sept. 12 at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. The CAT 304E2 CR Mini Excavator has a bucket digging force of 8,500 pounds. This event brought ten CE flights together in a training competition aimed at familiarizing and testing Airmen on a range of skills involving heavy equipment. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
