A U.S. Air Force crew chief assigned to the 11th Aircraft Maintenance Unit touches the wingtip of a B-52 Stratofortress as it taxis for takeoff at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, Aug. 26, 2020. The jet was being evacuated ahead of Hurricane Laura’s impending arrival. The storm, which hit Louisiana’s coast with winds of 135 mph, still packed gusts of 50 mph when it arrived at Barksdale AFB Aug. 27. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Ted Daigle)
