FTU keeps rolling
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Steve Smith, 93rd Bomb Squadron weapons systems officer instructor, teaches 1st Lt. Joshua Benard, 11th BS weapons systems officer student, the finer points of the B-52 Stratofortress at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, April 22, 2020. Benard was preparing for his first flight in the jet. Smith, who has over 10,000 hours in the B-52, is one of many experienced cadre teaching in the B-52 Formal Training Unit.
