A Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadet with Air Academy High School heads toward the cockpit of a B-52 Stratofortress at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, Oct. 18, 2019. Dozens of cadets from the school, which is located on the campus of the U.S. Air Force Academy, toured the 2nd Bomb Wing and 307th Bomb Wing to gain a greater understanding of the bomber community and its mission.
