Long Ranger life at RAF Fairford
Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 307th Bomb Wing take a break under the engine of a B-52 Stratofortress during festivities surrounding the 75th Anniversary of RAF Fairford, England, Sept. 6, 2019. More than 500 local civic leaders showed up for the celebration. The aircraft was on hand to support Exercise Ample Strike and Exercise Cobra Warrior. Ample Strike is a Czech Republic-led exercise designed to improve interoperability between Joint Terminal Air Controllers and B-52 air crew. Exercise Cobra Warrior is the capstone event for the Royal Air Force weapons instructor course. Both provide the U.S. Air Force with the opportunity to train with multiple NATO partners and allies simultaneously. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Ted Daigle)
