Zbynek Pavlacik, Jagello 2000 Association chairman, hugs retired U.S. Air Force Col. Dave Webb upon arriving in Shreveport, Louisiana, June 24, 2019. Pavlacik, along with several other delegates from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, came to Shreveport and Barksdale Air Force Base to solidify relations with the 307th Bomb Wing. Webb was instrumental in first establishing strong ties between the unit and the two countries nearly a decade ago. The Jagello 2000 Association is a major Czech non-profit organization concentrating in the field of international security issues and the Czech Republic’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
