Ample Strike Rolls On, Second B-52 Arrives
Pilots from the 343rd Bomb Squadron run through their checks in the cockpit of a B-52 Stratofortress at Royal Air Force Fairford, United Kingdom, Sep. 1, 2017. The mission was part of exercise Ample Strike, a Czech Republic-led live-fire exercise that offers advanced Air/Land Integration training to Forward Air Controllers, Joint Terminal Attack Controllers and Close Air Support aircrews. The exercise also gives U.S. forces an opportunity to train with their NATO allies and partners while also utilizing the total force integration model in the European theater.
