Rotating Power
A B-52 Stratofortress awaits loading of live munitions onto its latest weapons system, the Conventional Rotary Launcher, at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Feb. 1. 2017. The bombs loaded on the jet were part of the first live fire training mission for the CRL. The launcher can rotate through multiple types of munitions, allowing the jet to select the best munition to address a particular target. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ted Daigle/released)
