Korean veterans honored
U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Shelley Cohen, 307th Bomb Wing command chief, gets an up close look at a U.S. Army 65th Infantry Regiment cap during a luncheon honoring veterans of The Battle of Chosin Reservoir Dec. 22, 2016 at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. The battle was part of the Korean conflict in which American troops found themselves surrounded by enemy forces. The regiment served as the rear guard that helped U.S. soldiers and Marines break out to safety despite being vastly outnumbered and fighting in sub-zero temperatures. The luncheon was part of a week-long slate of events sponsored by the Independence Bowl Foundation to honor the veterans. (U.S Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ted Daigle/Released)
