Students Go Into the Belly of B-52
Lots of legs stick out from the bomb bay of a B-52 Stratofortress during a tour for students of STARBASE Louisiana Dec. 14, 2016 at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. The fifth graders got to see the jet inside and out while learning about the technology and engineering that makes it the longest lasting bomber in the U.S. Air Force inventory. STARBASE Louisiana, is a premier Department of Defense STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) program sponsored by the 307th Bomb Wing of the Air Force Reserve Command.
