Students Go Into the Belly of B-52

More than 80 fifth graders with STARBASE Louisiana head toward a B-52 Stratofortress during a tour of the jet Dec. 14, 2016 at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. The tour taught student everything from security issues like entry control points, to how the pilots and navigators of the jet do their jobs. STARBASE Louisiana, is a premier Department of Defense STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) program sponsored by the 307th Bomb Wing of the Air Force Reserve Command.
