Reunion reunites World War II vets
Wilmer Plate, a World War II B-24 Liberator pilot, tells one of his stories to U.S. Air Force Reserve Major Misty Bartley and Major Garth Ranz of the 489th Bomb Group after a tour of the Clinton Library in Little Rock, Ark., on May 20, 2016. Plate was a pilot in the 489th during World War II and authored a book “The Storm Clouds of War: Reflections of a WWII Bomber Pilot.” The Clinton Library was one of the tours set up for the World War II veterans during the Annual 489th Bomb Group Reunion.
