307th Bomb Wing Civic Leader Tour 2015
Brad Jurkovich, Senior Pastor for the First Baptist Church in Bossier City, La., (right) and Robbie Gatti, Pastor of Missions and Evangelism, feel the weight of the armor wounded warriors have to wear in the Firearms Training Simulator, or FATS, at the Center for the Intrepid in San Antonio, Texas, during a 307th Bomb Wing Civic Leader Tour, Sept. 1, 2015. The tour gave 29 Louisiana civic leaders the opportunity to get a closer look at the mission of the Air Force Reserve during the two-day trip from Barksdale to Joint Base San Antonio and Dyess Air Force Base in Texas. The trip included a refueling of the B-52 Stratofortress and B-1 Lancer; a C-5 Galaxy and B-1 static tour; a visit to the Center for the Intrepid for wounded warriors; and networking with other local community leaders.
