Lt. Col. Tim Mers retires from the 93rd Bomb Squadron
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Tim Mers smiles after being wet down by the Barksdale Air Force Base Fire Department. It is a tradition for the fire department to wet down an aviator upon the completion of their last flight or “Fini Flight”. Colonel Mers’ Fini Flight was on June 23, 2015 in Louisiana. He retires with over 7,000 hours in the B-52 Stratofortress as a Radar Navigator/Bombardier. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Laura Siebert/Released)
