STARBASE 2.0 End of Year Celebration
STARBASE students from Cope Middle School get to see completed projects that were made during the STARBASE 2.0 after school program. The projects were displayed as part of the End of Year Celebration and Awards Ceremony in Bossier City, La. on May 11, 2015. Students from three middle schools were awarded with participation and project awards. The STARBASE vision is to raise the interest and improve the knowledge and skills of at-risk youth in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, to provide for a highly-educated and skilled American workforce to meet the advanced technological requirements of the Department of Defense.
