STARBASE 900th Graduation
On May 19, 2015, one of the STARBASE instructors at W.T. Lewis Elementary School in Bossier City, La. nicknamed “Ice Man”, because he says, “Cool” so much, calls on four graduates of the 900th STARBASE Class to exhibit Newton’s Laws of Forces and Motion to the audience. The students demonstrated the results of a collision when you don’t use restraints by crashing two chairs into each other. Each chair had a stuffed animal; one properly restrained the other not.
