Exercise Polar Growl takes off

U.S. Air Force Maj. Landon Bell, 343rd Bomb Squadron, studies a flight brief at the 2nd Bomb Wing Operations Center. Major Bell is part of an aircrew participating in the “Polar Growl” mission. “Polar Growl” is a command directed Total Force Enterprise training mission bringing together active duty and reserve personnel from both the 2nd and 307th Bomb Wings at Barksdale Air Force Base, La.
