New Fitness Equipment Installed at Barksdale
Staff Sgt. Chad Miller, 307th Bomb Wing Unit Advisory Committee president, is all smiles during while viewing newly installed outdoor fitness stations at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 4, 2014. The 307th UAC initially conceived the project with the idea of offering more fitness options to the entire Barksdale AFB community. Miller spearheaded the project and collaborated with members of the 2nd Bomb Wing to make the stations a reality. A total of five stations are placed strategically on an existing three mile running trail so that members can easily mix cardiovascular and strength resistance exercises during exercise sessions.
