AFROTC cadets tour a B-52

Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) cadets tour a B-52H Stratofortress during their visit to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 7, 2014. To improve recruiting for the 13N-Nuclear Missile Operations career Field, the Air Force offered ten dedicated scholarships to AFROTC cadets interested in committing to the 13N career field. The scholarship recipients represent the cream of the crop; chosen from a competitive field of candidates that will all receive their commission in the 2015 fiscal year. Based on their selection, Lt. Gen. Stephen Wilson, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, personally invited them to attend the Fall Commander’s Conference and the Global Strike Command Score Posting Ceremony, which seven of the 10 selectees were able to accept.
