Wounded Warriors Hunt Gators
A six foot alligator is thrown into the boat after being hunted down at Chicot State Park, Ville Platte, La. Sept. 3, 2014. Eric Broussard, a U.S. Army veteran, bagged the big reptile just a few minutes earlier after finding it snagged on one of the fishing lines set the day before. Broussard was taking part in the hunt thanks to Wounded War Heroes of Louisiana, an outreach group that helps wounded veterans get back to the great outdoors. U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Darryl Moore, 307th Force Support Squadron first sergeant, coordinated the hunt for the appreciative veterans. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ted Daigle/released)
