Wounded Warriors Hunt Gators
Alligators are stacked two deep after a hunt for wounded veterans at Chicot State Park, Ville Platte, La., Sept. 3, 2014. Four lucky veterans were able to participate in the event thanks to U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Darryl Moore, 307th Force Support Squadron and Wounded War Heroes of Louisiana, a veteran outreach group that provides therapy to wounded warriors through outdoor events like this one. Moore volunteered his time to coordinate the event, in which 28 alligators were bagged over the course of two days. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ted Daigle/released)
