Wounded Warriors Hunt Gators
Dustin Mince and John Purser carry a 10 foot long alligator to the loading area after a hunt at Chicot State Park, Ville Platte, La., Sept. 4, 2014. Each year, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries allows up to 40 alligators to be taken from the park. This year, U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Darryl Moore, 307th Force Support Squadron first sergeant, was able to get the wounded warriors on the exclusive event for three days of fun. Moore, a retired game warden with the LDWF, volunteered his time and money to sponsor the veterans. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Ted Daigle/released)
