Chaplain Candidates visit Barksdale
U.S. Air Force Chaplain Candidate 2nd Lt. Xiomara Diaz reacts after firing the water cannon on a fire truck at Barksdale Air Force Base, August 2, 2013. Diaz and 26 other chaplain candidates visited Barksdale to gain exposure to the different aspects of the Air Force and the unique spiritual needs of different units. While at 2nd Bomb Wing Fire Station No.1, the candidates gained first-hand knowledge of what the firefighters do and learned how, as chaplains, they could reach out to members involved in the job.
