Chaplain Candidates visit Barksdale
The tail of a B-52 Stratofortress looms large on the horizon as U.S. Air Force chaplain candidates, their cadre, and pilots of the 307th Bomb Wing arrive at the flightline at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug. 2, 2013. The candidates learned about the plane and listened to ideas on how to best meet the spiritual and spiritual needs of U.S. Air Force pilots. In addition to talking to pilots, the candidates also spoke with members in several other jobs to gain perspective on their unique situations and needs. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
