Barksdale Airman takes time out to read
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Richard P. Hamric III, reads a story to Mrs. Smith’s 2nd Grade class at Legacy Elementary School in Bossier City, La., Sept. 11, 2013. Hamric participated in the “Mystery Reader Program,” where parents surprise their children by visiting the class and reading a story. Afterwards, Hamric and Senior Airman Jessie O. Watts Jr., spoke briefly about the tragedy of Sept. 11, and why the children should always be thankful and remember they live in a country that is free.
