100 Years of experience lost
Master Sgt. (Ret) James Guggenheim receives his retirement certificate from Lt. Col. Chris Evers, 717th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, commander, during one of the retirement ceremonies held in the A-10 Hangar at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., June 6, 2009. Master Sgt. Guggenheim is one of three Airmen from the 917th Wing who retired on the anniversary of the D-Day invasion of June 6, 1944. The retirements mean a loss of more than 101 years of total experience to the 917th Wing. Master Sgt. Guggenheim retired after 31.5 years of service. Also retiring were Master Sgt.
