Barksdale recreational opportunities
A 5-foot alligator becomes a water hazard for Master Sgt. Greg Steele, 47th Fighter Squadron, visual information technician, at Flag Lake on the East Reservation of Barksdale Air Force Base, La., June 13, 2009. In Louisiana, the term “avoiding water hazards” doesn’t always apply to a golf course. When the alligator took a liking to his top-water bait, Sergeant Steele made the prudent decision to move down the bank to another fishing spot. Sergeant Steele is an Air Reserve Technician with the 47th FS. (Courtesy photo)
