JROTC cadets attend leadership school
Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Cadet Tydra Ekeh gets a hands-on lesson from Senior Airman David Zheng, 2nd Bomb Wing, combat correspondent, about video broadcasting in Hoban Hall at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., June 18, 2009, as part of an eight-day “Summer Leadership School” more than 300 JROTC cadets are attending. Cadet Ekeh is a member of the AF JROTC Unit at West Jefferson High School in Harvey, La. The eight-day school is designed to encourage each cadet’s leadership skills. The cadets are chosen for the school by unit officials after they pass certain criteria. Cadets must also maintain a “C” average in high school.
