Byram
Kevin Byram, Heritage Energy Company vice president, looks into the cockpit of an aircraft parked in the “petting zoo,” a boneyard located at the threat training facility full of foreign military hardware acquired by the U.S. military over the years. Mr. Byram and approximately 30 other civic leaders from Shreveport-Bossier and surrounding areas visited Nellis AFB, Nev., Oct. 11-12 as part of the 917th Wing Civic Leader Tour 2006. While there, these community leaders learned about the missions of the Predator, the F-22A Raptor and the Thunderbird aircraft. They were briefed on how the total force mission works, where active-duty and associate Reserve units work as one team. (U.S. Air Force photos/Tech. Sgt. Sherri Savant)
