Lena and Henry 2

Henry (played by Kirk Williams) tries to reason with a belligerent Lena (Gloria Jefferson) about his "place" in the home. The play, "Lord Have Mercy, She Just A'int Gon' Doo Rite," was written by Wing member and playwright Bruce Johnson, and performed at Barksdale's base theater Tuesday, Feb. 27. Through his work, Bruce intends to show the audience that no matter what you do or say, sometimes you just can't please everyone. So just leave it up to God, and everything will be alright.
