917th Airman builds warriors from ground up
Recruit Brittany Brannon walks across a pole hanging some twenty feet in the air as her fellow cadets urge her on to success at the East Texas Medical Center/Behavioral Health Center in Tyler, Texas, August 15, 2009. Recruit Brannon is a member of the TYLER JOINT FORCE Battalion of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Corps based in Tyler. The exercise helps participants overcome their fears, build confidence in their personal abilities and trust in the support of others. The cadets spent the entire day completing exercises which will enable them to work closer with and trust their fellow cadets in the future. These exercises will also benefit those cadets who decide to join the U.S. Military in the future. Recruit Brannon was born in Germany, but now calls Tyler, Texas home.
