917th MXS Airmen take second at Oktoberfest
Attendees sit down for a complete authentic German meal at the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest celebration at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., October 2, 2009. The price of admission included bratwurst, schnitzel, German potato salad, and a roll; along with 2 beverages and a commemorative Oktoberfest mug. Side items such as turkey legs and sausage on a stick were also available. Partygoers talked, ate, sang and danced, while others participated in the keg rolling, costume and yodeling contests.
