Barksdale Airmen support community, visa versa

The Airmen are part of effort to keep a neighborhood from flooding after abnormal amounts of rain fell on the Red Chute Bayou area. Both Sergeants Ricker and McClain are vehicle and vehicular maintenance journeymen with the 2nd Logistics Readiness Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base La., and were responsible for keeping ATVs that transported sand bags operational. Sergeant Jordan is with the 2nd Force Support Squadron and was the Senior NCO on duty at the time. His duties included ensuring the safety of Barksdale assets and personnel.
