Barksdale Airmen support community, visa versa

Flooded Lakeside Drive in northern Bossier Parish is near impassable November 4, 2009. Hundreds of Airmen from Barksdale Air Force Base La., joined together with Soldiers from the 527th Engineers of the Louisiana National Guard and other volunteers on Oct. 31 to sand bag a levee containing the Red Chute Bayou.
