45th Fighter Squadron rejoins A-10 community
As the sun sets, a B-52 Stratofortess stands opposite a group of A-10 Thunderbolt IIs and a KC-135 Stratotanker on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., on Jan. 6, 2010. The aircraft were set up to be used as displays and transportation for the 45th Fighter Squadron reactivation ceremony on Davis-Monthan January 7, 2010. The reactivation of the historic unit brought the squadron back into the A-10 Thunderbolt II community. Current members, retirees and distinguished visitors witnessed the ceremony.
