917th Wing aids in Barksdale tour
The 917th Wing on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., aided the 2nd Bomb Wing on Barksdale during a base tour for a group of Reserve Officer Training Corps students from the University of Memphis March 9, 2010. The A-10 Thunderbolt II is a normal part of Barksdale’s tours and operations The 917th Wing currently maintains and operates 24 A-10 Thunderbolt IIs.
