93rd BS makes history
Technical Sgt. David Johnson, 917th Aircraft Maintenance jet mechanic, marshals in a B-52 Stratofortress displaying the United Sates, NATO and Czech Republic flags from the cockpit windows at the Leos Janacek Ostrava Airport, Ostrava, Czech Republic, Sept. 15, 2010. The landing marked the first ever for a B-52 in the Czech Republic. The historic flight was made to the Czech Republic in support of the 10th NATO Days in Ostrava & 1st Czech Air Force Days Air Show, which is scheduled for Sept 18-19, 2010. The B-52 Stratofortress, its crew and support personnel are from the 917th Wing and 93rd Bomb Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Greg Steele)
