Barksdale Airmen make impression at Westwood Elementary
Lt. Col. David Webb, commander of the 917th Operations Support Flight with the assistance of Ms. Valli Webb, a Pre-K teacher at Westwood Elementary School in Shreveport, La., plant a flower bush with a group of Pre-K students, Sept. 28, 2010. Mrs. Webb planned the planting project to allow her students the opportunity to see the growth of their efforts. Through the year, plans are to replace the flowers with seasonal plants and vegetables to be a continuing lesson for the students that could last a lifetime.
