917th SFS conduct training
Senior Master Sgt. Charles Parker Jr., operations superintendent for the 917th Security Forces Squadron, prepares a weapon’s strike to a pad held by one of his fellow Airmen during an ASP Certification Training class outside the 917th SFS building at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 3, 2010. The class was in the middle of its two-minute reaction drills, where the participant must engage eight different pads continuously for two minutes, with constantly changing strike commands from the instructor. The evolution is designed to wear a participant down, thus building endurance. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jeff Walston)
