Czech Republic welcomes a Cold Warrior

Joseph “Doc” Jones, commander, 93rd Bomb Squadron, shows a group of Czech Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts a video recording from the targeting pod of the 917th Wing B-52H Stratorfortress as it made its approach and landing at the Leoš Janácek Airport in Ostrava, Czech Republic, Sept. 15, 2010. Colonel Jones was a member of the history making aircrew that flew the B-52 bomber to Ostrava, marking the first time a B-52 Stratofortress has visited the Czech Republic. It was flown there in support of the 10th Annual NATO Days in Ostrava air show which is the largest air, army and security show in Central Europe.
