47 FS pilots compete at Hawgsmoke 2010
Lt. Col. Doug Champaign, (far left) commander of the 107th Fighter Squadron, and other members of the “Red Devils” from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, in Michigan, watch as their team competes in the Hawgsmoke 2010, Oct. 14, at the Saylor Creek Range in Idaho. The competition, which is a biennial worldwide A-10 bombing, missile and tactical gunnery competition, this year involved 40 jets and 72 pilots from 18 different units, and was hosted by the 190th Fighter Squadron of the 124th Fighter Wing, Idaho Air National Guard.
