Patriotism; Stronger in numbers
Approximately 40 Barksdale Airmen placed 85 American Flags along North Gate Road to commemorate Veteran's Day at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 11, 2010. Volunteers for the flag detail, which included another group of 17 Airmen putting up an additional 92 flags on base along Barksdale Air Force Base Boulevard, came from Barksdale Team 56, the First Term Airman Center, Airman Leadership School - Class 11-02 and the 917th Wing. The flags lined the road for approximately a half mile from the North Gate to Patricia Drive, and were removed approximately 11 hours later, at the end of the day. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
