Patriotism; Stronger in numbers
Staff Sgt. (S) Darrell Cross-Williams, non-destructive inspection maintenance, 2nd Maintenance Squadron, and Staff Sgt. (S) Joseph Romaine, client systems, 2nd Communications Squadron, put up an America Flag along North Gate Road outside Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 11, 2010. The flags lined the road for approximately a half mile from the North Gate to Patricia Drive, and were removed approximately 11 hours later, at the end of the day. The Airmen were among approximately 57 Barksdale Airmen who posted American Flags along North Gate Road and Barksdale Air Force Base Boulevard to commemorate Veteran's Day at Barksdale.
