Patriotism; Stronger in numbers
Barksdale Airmen walk back to their cars after placing 85 American flags along North Gate Road outside Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 11, 2010. Approximately 40 Airmen posted the flags to commemorate Veteran's Day. Volunteers for the flag detail came from Barksdale Team 56, the First Term Airman Center, Airman Leadership School - Class 11-02 and the 917th Wing. The flags lined the road for approximately a half mile from the North Gate to Patricia Drive, and were removed approximately 11 hours later, at the end of the day. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
