Lt. Col. Joseph Jones, commander of the 93rd Bomb Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., helps the flight crew prepare a B-52 Stratofortress for takeoff on a training sortie at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 27, 2010. Maj. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, who is a U.S. Army officer and the Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Reserve Matters was on board for the sortie.
